what to expect at new city
our service structure
Services begin with our worship team leading the church in music, and grading on the curve, our music is pretty upbeat. At New City you're likely to see people singing, raising their hands, and even a few people jumping or dancing.
After worship is over you'll hear about an event or announcement then receive an invitation to attend the
Discover Track. After that, we'll release everyone to greet one another. This is the perfect time for you to
head to the Discover Track! Once the greeting time is over we view a New City Story from one
of our church family members.

After the New City Story is finished, one of our pastors will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
The service is then typically closed by one additional song of worship, a time to receive prayer and an opportunity to give financially. In total our services are about 75 minutes long.

We have heard over from so many people that New City felt like home as soon as they stepped through the doors. We strive to create an environment where anyone can feel welcomed. That is why you will see greeters at the doors, refreshments in the foyer, and a team of ushers to help you find a seat if need be! Weekends at New City are exciting, yet relaxed. Is that possible? We dress pretty casual as well, you might spot the occasional suit jacket or tie but it's pretty rare around New City. Come comfy - we will!

Great question! We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at New City, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, every person that works with minors at New City has been interviewed, trained and completed a background check.
