KOSOVO 2027

WINTER MISSION TRIP

For two weeks, we will be traveling to the Muslim nation of Kosovo and continuing the momentum of our New City Church campus there.

TRIP DATES:  JANUARY 26TH - FEBRUARY 9TH (These can shift a day or two, but will remain a 14 day total trip)
Mission Team Leaders:  Eric & Kelsey Crawford
Assistant Team Leaders: Taylor & Megan Dunlap

WHAT TO EXPECT WHILE ON MISSION

Join us as we travel to Kosovo to serve alongside our New City Church campus and ministry partners in the region.
This trip will include a variety of ministry opportunities designed to strengthen the local church, serve the community, build relationships, and share the hope of Jesus.

While the exact schedule is still being developed, here are some of the ways our team may serve:

Parenting Conference
We’ll help host a parenting conference for pastors, church leaders, and families from Kosovo and Albania.
Local churches have expressed a desire for practical biblical teaching and encouragement around parenting,
and our team will have opportunities to help facilitate, serve, and minister throughout the event.

Outreach Events
Our team will help with creative outreach opportunities designed to connect with people in the community, particularly young adults.
These may include pop-up events, parties, or other gatherings that create natural opportunities to build relationships and share the Gospel.

Church Ministry
We’ll come alongside the ongoing ministry of our Kosovo campus through weekend services,
Kids Club, worship gatherings, prayer, encouragement, and other opportunities to serve the local church family.

Facility Projects
Our church has recently rented a new facility in Kosovo. Depending on what remains to be completed by the time we arrive,
our team will assist with projects that help prepare, improve, or personalize the space for ministry.

House Visits & Relationship Building
A significant part of ministry in Kosovo happens through relationships. We may spend time visiting people in their homes,
hearing their stories, encouraging families, praying together, and looking for opportunities to share Jesus.

Serve Projects
Our trips often include practical service projects that meet tangible needs in the community.
These projects can take many different forms depending on what would be most helpful at the time.

PREPARING FOR THE TRIP

Going on a mission trip is much more than the days we spend overseas. We want to prepare spiritually, relationally, and practically as a team.
Team members should expect to participate in approximately six preparation meetings leading up to the trip.
We’ll work together to find meeting times that serve the team well, but these gatherings will be an important part of preparing to serve together.

Everyone will also have opportunities to contribute to the preparation and ministry of the trip.
Depending on your gifts and experience, that could include helping with events, ministry preparation, logistics,
team care, prayer, worship, kids ministry, projects, or other areas.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

The estimated cost of the trip is approximately $2,500 per person. This will be required in advance of the trip and will cover
all airfare, lodging, food and essentials throughout the entirety of the trip.
There is an application fee of $30 which will be put toward the overall cost of the trip.

We plan to provide fundraising opportunities to help offset the cost, although we cannot guarantee that the entire trip will be covered through fundraising.
One of the portions of the trips includes a debrief in a city on the way home from Kosovo, so we also encourage every team member to personally invest financially in the trip.
We believe making a personal sacrifice toward the mission helps deepen our ownership, preparation, and heart for what God wants to do through the experience.

WHO SHOULD CONSIDER GOING?

We’re looking for people who will represent New City well through their willingness to serve, remain flexible, work well with others, and step into whatever opportunities God places in front of us.
You will be required to have completed Discover Track and be an active Family Member at New City before embarking on the trip.

An application is listed below and required for approval to join the team on this trip. Please be aware that your submission of an application does not
guarantee your acceptance onto the team. There are a limited number of spots available and we prayerfully consider all applicants and whether or not this
is the best next step for them in their walk and relationship with God as it pertains to New City.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2026
